Mark Calette appointed as Senior Director of Administration
I am pleased to announce that Mark Calette has been appointed as Senior Director of Administration for the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan (MN-S), effective January 7, 2019. Mark has most recently served as Senior Advisor – Community and Aboriginal Engagement for the Saskatchewan Research Council. He also was the Manager of National Historic Sites of Parks Canada Agency, and Project Manager of Parks Canada Agency. In addition to his 22 years of management and leadership, he has 19 years of experience in Aboriginal relationship building and negotiations, has received an award for his work in the Métis community, and is best known for his work in capacity building with First Nations and Métis communities and special projects. He also was a national trainer for Parks Canada Agency where all new hires received Aboriginal awareness training. Mark started his career in facilities management and property management.
