MN-S Remembers Lt. Governor Tom Molloy as an “advocate” and “ally”

July 2, 2019 – Métis Nation-Saskatchewan (MN-S) President Glen McCallum extended condolences to the family of the The Honourable W. Thomas Molloy, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, who passed away Tuesday.

“On behalf of MN-S, I and my wife Verna offer our sincere condolences to the family of Lieutenant Governor Molloy,” said McCallum. “Lieutenant Governor Molloy was a strong ally of the Métis Nation and for all Indigenous people. He has been in our prayers since we first heard of his illness and we will continue to share our thoughts and prayers for his family.

“Lieutenant Governor Molloy was a proud, strong advocate for reconciliation. His voice, knowledge and support will be missed. I hope all people will remember and recognize his efforts and will continue his work toward inclusion, respect and recognition of Indigenous peoples across Canada.”
