March 18, 2020 – Government of Canada update on COVID-19
The Government of Canada today, March 18th, 2020, announced an $82 billion-dollar economic aid package to help Canadians and businesses cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. $27-billion-dollars is earmarked for direct supports and $55 billion is for business liquidity to stabilize tax deferrals. Today the Federal Government has implemented more global travel restrictions to include all non-essential border crossings between Canada and the United States. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says our most important supply chain between the two countries will remain in motion providing the necessaries like food and fuel. For travel details go here
