March 18, 2020 – Government of Canada update on COVID-19
The Government of Canada today, March 18th, 2020, announced an $82 billion-dollar economic aid package to help Canadians and businesses cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. $27-billion-dollars is earmarked for direct supports and $55 billion is for business liquidity to stabilize tax deferrals. Today the Federal Government has implemented more global travel restrictions to include all non-essential border crossings between Canada and the United States.
