MN-S signs Open Doors MOU with Parks Canada
July 17, 2020 – Métis Nation – Saskatchewan, in partnership with Parks Canada, has signed an agreement today that allows all registered card-carrying Métis citizens access to national parks and national historic sites in Saskatchewan operated by Parks Canada. The six-year deal is effective immediately.
Parks Canada Open Doors program offers Métis citizens free access to: Grasslands National Park, Prince Albert National Park and Batoche, Fort Batoche, Fort Battleford, Fort Walsh, and Motherwell Homestead National Historic sites.
