Kaayaa chi Waaniihkayaahk – Lest we Forget

November 11, 2020 – This Remembrance Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2020, let us reflect on the sacrifices of the Métis veterans who took up the fight for the rights of all Métis people in Canada as far back the 1800’s. On this day of remembrance and tribute, let us pay homage to those who have served and who continue to serve today.

Thank you to Métis Nation – Saskatchewan Eastern Region II Area Director Brent Digness and ERII members for sharing these images of Veterans. We want to pay our respects to all of our Métis veterans, past and present. Please help us pay proper regard to the Veterans in our community by sharing their stories and images with [email protected]
