January 21, 2021 – The Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together and address Métis people‘s experiences with cancer.

Senior leaders from the SCA and MN–S signed a formal agreement establishing a framework in which the two partners will create a Métis-specific cancer strategy. This framework addresses health equity in Saskatchewan and will form an important part of the MN-S overall health and well-being strategy.
