MN–S celebrates in-person September long weekend at the Batoche Métis Fall Festival

August 20, 2021 – Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) is holding the Batoche Métis Fall Festival, September 2-5, 2021.

The four-day event brings people together to celebrate with music, dance, storytelling, and food. Join us for music performances, the Elders Lodge, Little Jiggers Village, Voyageur Games and jigging, square dance, and fiddle demonstrations. The racetrack will also be up and running and will feature Chuckwagon and Chariot Races.

The festival also marks a return to the diamonds with the slo-pitch tournament. Register your team today by calling Jason at 306-940-9636 or email [email protected]. You will also be able to register for Métis Idol and Family Feud at the festival grounds.

MN–S is looking for volunteers to help at Batoche from September 2-5, 2021. Information booths and artisan vendors can join by calling Corinne at 306-922-2206 or emailing [email protected] for all the details.

The health of our Nation and Métis citizens remains a priority. MN–S will have a pop-up vaccination clinic on-site at Batoche and encourages everyone to be fully vaccinated. Rapid COVID-19 tests will also be readily available.

Stay safe, come together, and enjoy our Métis culture and heritage at the Batoche Métis Fall Festival September 2-5, 2021.
