February 9, 2022 – Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) is looking for authoritative and impartial individuals to serve as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Métis Nation Legislative Assembly (MNLA).

The Speaker assumes the highest position at the MNLA, presiding over the meeting, enforcing the rules, order and conduct of business. In the Speaker’s absence, the role is assumed by the Deputy Speaker. The MNLA sits at least twice a year. Both appointments are two-year terms. 

The call is open until noon on March 15, 2022.
