Culturally safe walk-in vaccination clinics Feb 18 & 19

Friday, February 11, 2022 – Bring your family to the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) Saskatoon office next weekend for a COVID–19 vaccination or booster. MN–S, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), is holding two culturally safe walk-in clinics to encourage COVID-19 vaccination and booster shots.The clinics are being held at the MN–S Saskatoon office at 310–20th Street East between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19. All Saskatchewan citizens ages five and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination. A second dose can be administered 28 days after the first vaccination and boosters are available for anyone 12 and older. Parents may choose to have the pediatric vaccine administered 21 days after their child’s first dose. You will need to provide a health card and proof of previous vaccination, if applicable. The clinic is open to all; MN–S citizenship is not require

The culturally aware clinics will open with a traditional prayer, and bannock will be available. The MN–S COVID-19 family walk-in vaccination clinics are on Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19 at 310–20th Street East, Saskatoon. They run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
