Application process for participation on Provincial Métis Youth Council open

August 3, 2022 – Young Métis citizens, let your voice be heard when it comes to Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) policy and programming decisions. Be part of the Provincial Métis Youth Council (PMYC).

MN–S is dedicated to increasing youth engagement with opportunities for young people interested in the Métis government.

Following the election of the PMYC President last fall, the Provincial Métis Council (PMC) voted to shift the practice of PMYC representation to a province-wide blind selection process to ensure a fair and open method is in place for the future.

The next step is to populate the Youth Council with representation from all 12 regions in the province. Interested candidates must be Métis citizens, or in the process of becoming citizens and be between the ages of 16 and 29.

Become a Provincial Youth Representative in the MN–S government. Fill out an application here.

The deadline for applications is Thursday, September 15.
