MN–S resumes Emergency Repair Program this October
September 21, 2022 – Métis Nation–Saskatchewan’s (MN–S) Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure is dedicated to the health and safety of Métis citizens by providing safe living environments. The Emergency Repair Program (ERP) is being reintroduced next month.
The ERP provides a one-time, indirect grant to registered Métis citizens who currently own their homes and earn less that $100,000.00 a year.
Applications go through a selection process that involves a home inspection report that prioritizes needs. Individuals looking for cosmetic fixes will not be eligible.
The application process helps MN–S assess housing conditions and adjust the Housing Strategy to address gaps identified in certain communities.
ERP Guidelines and applications will be available October 11 at https://metisnationsk.com/housing/
