January 16, 2023 – Don’t give bugs a chance – get your regular, recommended vaccinations today. The Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) department of Health supports community immunity and encourages all citizens to protect themselves and others.

If you’re an MN-S citizen, show us your proof of vaccination and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a prize. A total of $12,500 in gift cards will be given away to Métis citizens entered in the weekly draws. The challenge begins here https://forms.gle/Vr7fKmpaJnLqhcbC8  on January 16 and runs until March 31, 2023.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Participants must be a registered Métis citizen or have an eligible in-process application with the Registry that meets the criteria for becoming registered with Métis Nation–Saskatchewan.
• Participants must be able to provide proof that they reside in Saskatchewan (government-issued photo ID, utility bill, bank statement, etc.)
• Participants must provide proof of receiving an immunization in the last 12 months.

Recommended shots include, but are not limited to:

• Flu
• COVID-19
• Chicken pox (varicella)
• Diphtheria,
• Hepatitis A, hepatitis B,
• HPV (human papillomavirus)
• Measles
• Meningococcal
• Mumps
• Pneumococcal
• Polio
• Rubella
• Shingles
• Tetanus
• Whooping cough (pertussis)
