October 25, 2023 – A major partnership announcement has been made that will increase Métis employment opportunities in the health care system and improve patient outcomes.

Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) are major stakeholders in a new five-year agreement between the Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to create and deliver the Nurturing our Future – Building Métis Public Health Services Project.
