Métis Nation–Saskatchewan hosts 3rd annual Early Learning and Childcare Conference

January 25, 2024 – Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) Early Learning and Childcare (ELCC) has teamed up with the Culture, Heritage, and Language Ministry to host “Aen Kishkayhtamihk la tayr” – Knowing the Land, a two-day conference March 22 and 23 in Saskatoon.

Keynote speakers and break-out sessions over the two-days will focus on issues pertaining to our Métis culture, land-based learning, and supporting Métis children in their learning environments and community. Early learning teachers and childcare professionals are invited to come together to connect, gain insight and share best practices.

Main stage presentations will be live streamed from 8:30 AM – NOON on Friday and Saturday from 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM and from 10:45 AM – NOON.
