February Tea & Talks: Being a Strong Ally to Survivors
This month, the MN–S Health team is joined by Ashley Voinorosky. Ashley works with the Saskatoon Sexual Assault and Information Centre (SSAIC) as part of the Education and Outreach team. SSAIC is a Saskatoon-based charitable organization dedicated to taking a leadership role in responding to sexualized violence in our community. This organization provides counselling services, as well as prevention and support education.
We will be discussing with Ashley how to be a strong ally to individuals of sexualized violence and those who have been affected. This topic is a crucial one for our communities to find healing and be able to move forward with supportive outcomes.
MN–S is dedicated to ensuring our citizens have access to culturally safe resources to improve healthcare outcomes.
Wiichaywnaan (Join us) for this important discussion!
