Métis Nation–Saskatchewan Q&A
August 30, 2025
We’ve heard questions about why the upcoming MNLA will take place in September 2025, and whether that timing affects who can attend.
On February 18, 2025, your Provincial Métis Council (PMC) voted at a duly held meeting to hold the MNLA on Sept 5-7, 2025. This decision was made three months before the election took place. The change to September happened because of venue availability. It was not connected to any candidates or recounts.
You can view the livestream replay in Part 2 of the meeting video at the 1:45 mark.
