We would like to share some information regarding the swearing-in of two elected Provincial Métis Council members.

On July 15, 2025, President Glen McCallum sent a letter to the Provincial Métis Council regarding swearing in options for the two elected Provincial Métis Council members.  On the same day, both members received a formal letter from President Glen McCallum indicating that they could be sworn in as early as July 15, or on another mutually agreeable date. They chose to wait and take their oath alongside the other candidates post September 16. They are currently on payroll.

We share this information so that citizens have clarity about our governance process.
