General Assembly

Arrangements for the November 23, 2024 General Assembly have been cancelled, including the main site and the five satellite locations.

Article 11.1 of the Constitution of the Métis Nation Saskatchewan states:

A General Assembly, composed of members from the Locals shall be convened by the Métis Nation Legislative Assembly every year.

The resolution of the MNLA which would have formalized the convening of a General Assembly was not considered by delegates at the November 2-3, 2024 Métis Nation Legislative Assembly. Therefore, the General Assembly cannot be held.
