December 18, 2019 – Food harvesting is an integral element of Métis culture and an affirmation of who we are.  Before closing out the calendar year, the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan and the Government of Saskatchewan reaffirmed the commitment to work together to determine, recognize and respect Métis food harvesting rights.  The MOU signing on December 18, 2019, is to pursue such a long-term, province-wide agreement as soon as possible.
