July 26, 2021 – Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure is pleased to add the First-Time Home Buyers’ Program (FTHB) to its portfolio.

Previously run by the SaskMétis Economic Development Corporation (SMEDCO), the FTHB assists Métis citizens in purchasing their first home with contributions for a down payment and closing costs.

Effective immediately, all new applications received for the FTHB Program will be administered by MN-S under new Program Guidelines. MN–S appreciates all the work SMEDCO has done on the FTHB Program to date.
