September 2, 2021 – Here to assist families in obtaining information about a missing loved one is the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) Family Information Liaison Outreach (FILO) office.

Established in the spring, FILO worker Angie Bear acts as “one-stop” for MMIWG families by assisting in their search for information by accessing public agencies. The liaison is not an investigation unit, nor will legal advice be offered.

The MN–S FILO is providing Métis-specific services through to March 31, 2023.
